Graduate Transport Planner

We’re looking for talented and motivated graduates who want to kick start their career with a global consultancy, working on challenging, often ground-breaking projects.

Our multidisciplinary team of engineers and transport planners has a wealth of problem-solving experience in all manner of transport projects, from initial assessment to implementation, covering all modes of transport. ­­

We have exciting opportunities in various locations across the UK for Graduate Transport Planners to join our experienced team who are engaged in all aspects of traffic and transportation planning including transport assessments for new developments, masterplanning, urban regeneration projects, sustainable transport feasibility schemes and travel plans.

Typical duties could involve:

* Assisting in the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans

* Highway design including use of CAD

* Analysis of data and drawings of transport improvements including junction designs

* Preparing Technical reports

* Site and Access Appraisals

* Liaising with clients and stakeholders

What are we looking for?

* A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant technical discipline (for example Transport Planning, Engineering, Town Planning, Geography)

* MS Office skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong numeracy, analytical and report writing skills with an attention to detail

* Experienced in AutoCAD

* Knowledge of planning and transport policy and relevant highway design standards and guidance
