RPS Risk has opportunities available for recent Graduates to join their team based near Basingstoke.

The RPS Risk team has been a leading provider of defence safety and risk consultancy services to clients in the UK for over 30 years. We provide our core safety and environmental assessment services, including management support and independent audit to both MOD and defence supply chain organisations.

Your role

As a Graduate Safety Consultant, you will be supporting the delivery of safety management services to a range of projects across land, maritime and air domains.

Main responsibilities:

· Developing lasting relationships and frameworks with clients

· To perform hazard analysis and reporting across a wide range of hazard types

· Participating in hazard workshops including HAZOP/HAZID/ALARP/LOPA/FMEA

· Support development of risk assessment tools and reports

· Business and service development support

Skills & Qualifications required

· Degree held within a STEM* subject

· Excellent numeracy, reporting/essay writing, attention to detail and time management skills

· Self-motivated team player with interpersonal skills

· Enthusiastic and looking to learn new skills

· Flexibility and willingness to travel within the role

· Competent user of the complete Microsoft office package and general IT Excel

· Be able to multitask and work within budget and deadlines

· Desirable – Any understanding of UK safety regulations and supporting assessment techniques. Any relevant work experiences

Because of the nature of the work we undertake, this post is required to meet special nationality rules and therefore is only open to British Citizens (as defined in the British Nationality Act 1981). All selected candidates will also be required to undergo a security clearance
