Job Description

ARM’s Embedded & Automotive Line of Business is responsible for all customer engagement activities at all levels of the value chain, for the automotive and embedded business segments.

The line of business develops and executes strategies to grow the business, defines the right products and solutions, and ensures our customers are successful.

The Graduate Operations Analyst will support the delivery of these business capabilities, by working with the Operations Director & Manager to ensure that the team operates efficiently and that there is alignment in our business & market data. The analyst will join a team of highly-skilled professionals and will help the group analyse the company’s business environment and the markets we are competing in.

Arm’s success is built upon working collaboratively to analyse and solve complex problems to deliver results for our partners, and that is what we will be asking from you as well.

As part of your everyday work you will:

› Support the team in providing accurate market intelligence & reporting, that supports our product strategy, positioning, and marketing

› Help analyse the data coming from the Arm ecosystem, to identify trends that are driving our royalty growth in the automotive and embedded markets

› Consolidate the group’s revenue plan, by combining multiple data sources into a single view

› Track and report on the budgets and costs for the line of business

› Monitor the headcount and training plans, liaising with hiring managers and the People team as needed

› Help create and measure our group’s balanced scorecard and its recurring metrics, that allow us to benchmark our progress

› Conduct ad hoc data analysis and reporting for the different teams within the line of business

› Provide operational support to the wider team as well as interfacing and coordination with corporate functions as required

Job Requirements

› Educated to degree level in business, computer science, finance, mathematics, or a relevant discipline, with a very good academic record. This is a graduate position, so work experience is not required.

› Experience in Microsoft Excel, including broad knowledge of formulas and pivot tables

› Ability to collect, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information

› Excellent communication and presentation skills

› Ability to engage and work with stakeholders effectively

› Tenacity and drive to help us achieve our business objectives in a timely manner

› A proactive mind-set that can challenge and escalate when needed

› An excellent attention to detail

Other desirable skills:

› Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or other business intelligence tools

› Knowledge of forecast modelling and statistical analysis

› Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
