This position is a unique opportunity to exercise your hardware verification skills on cutting edge designs within the prestigious PowerVR Graphics group. Day to day, you’ll take responsibility for the verification of modules within the graphics core, using modern integrated circuit test techniques for both module level and top-level verification of our graphics cores.

You will:

* Work with design engineers in verifying and validating circuit designs

* Prepare design and verification plans based on design specifications

* Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements

* Improve and maintain the design verification environment by tracking and closing design bugs

* Utilise latest techniques, tools and technologies for design and verification activities

* Strong maths or algorithm skills

* Good knowledge of hardware verification techniques and methodologies

* The ability to determine module verification requirements from analysis of specifications

* Experience of UVM or similar hardware verification methodology

* Knowledge of System Verilog for verification (or a similar verification language)

You might also have:

* Knowledge of CPU or DSP architectures

* Experience of ASIC verification in the field of graphics, video, microprocessors or full SoC

* Experience of ASIC or FPGA design tools

* Knowledge of low power design techniques and power aware verification

* Experience of formal verification techniques (Jasper, Hector, Formality)

* Experience in writing assertions (SVA, PSL)

* Scripting skills in Python or TCL

* Graphics exposure (OpenGL, Vulkan)
