DESCRIPTION:

Job title: Configuration Services Project Manager

Job Purpose
The role is a member of the Configuration Services (CS) team with accountability for the execution of services for our CS customers. The Individual is responsible for the technical requirements for each customer Configuration Services project from inception through to project retirement; for supporting Demand Generation activities and delivering an exceptional level of customer experience and execution quality.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities
This role takes total responsibility and accountability for end to end project development managing the day-to-day projects assigned to them and associated customer relationships. The key areas of responsibility are as follows:
- Identifies customer needs/requirements and recommends appropriate CS services
- Acts as a subject matter expert and key advocate on the CS portfolio to support the sales organisation to meet and/or exceed their objectives
- Maximises the inclusion of Dell CS services relevant to the opportunity
- Liaises with CS Project Engineering team ensuring they have a thorough knowledge of the requirements as laid out in the CS Technical Spec.
- Proactively manage all transition/EOL requirements for customer projects
- Delivers exceptional customer experience and execution quality
- Stays up to date with new CS Services offerings and Solutions
- Utilises effective probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions
- Analyses multiple factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommends appropriate solution
- Represents Dell in an appropriate professional, ethical and competent manner
- Engages cross functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/meet customer needs
- Liaise with customer in relation to any field issues. Analyse and communicate to CFI Quality teamand work to determine root-cause and fastest possible fix, for minimum impact on project roll-out
