Job Summary

Global Senior Director, Digital Marketing & Brand

The maternity cover role of Global Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Brand will report directly to AECOM’s chief marketing officer and sit within the enterprise strategic marketing team. You will manage a small team of web developers and creatives and should be used to working in a matrix organization, strong influencing skills are crucial. You should be a self-motivated, calm leader with experience of empowering, mentoring and developing extraordinarily high performance, multi-disciplinary teams.

You will be someone who can ideate, direct and implement big digital marketing ideas and brand ideas. You’ll be managing stakeholders and content across a multitude of channels. Key responsibilities include:

Experience building and managing an enterprise website

Brand strategy and creative direction

Experience taking new products to market is essential

You will work with other team members of the strategic marketing team as well as partner with marketing managers, creatives and brand specialists from across our regions and business lines — good stakeholder management is key.

DIGITAL MARKETING

*

Development of aecom.com and other digital channels to drive including the development of lead generation and marketing automation strategies to optimise SEO, content strategy and resource challenges

*

Roll out of the agreed digital web strategy for aecom.com and continuation of the coalescing of AECOM’s digital footprint (microsites / aecom.com / Without Limits / Future of Infrasturcture) onto one channel to drive traffic across our digital footprint.

*

Development and implementation of strategy to rebuild aecom.com

*

Shape digital channels to convey compelling stories, forming alignment to our brand, growth sectors, markets and BL’s

*

Improve UX across web real estate encouraging users to take action

BRAND

*

Develop insights (incl. competitor analysis where relevant) to fuel ideation, informing the development of the brand

*

Ongoing development of the brand strategy and narrative highlighting AECOM’s position as an authentic global leader in ESG and the world’s more trusted infrastructure firm.

*

Development of innovative ways to experience the AECOM brand using emerging technologies as well as effective traditional methods

*

Take digital products to market – development of the digital marketing strategy to effectively take new products to market

*

Lead the effort to ensure brand consistency in messaging, voice, and creative across all enterprise activities

*

Activation of brand campaigns across different markets and regions

Minimum Requirements

*

Degree / postgraduate in relevant digital marketing or brand qualification is preferable

*

Experience and understanding of the complexities of working on a global scale

*

A true creative with a brilliant portfolio to match

*

Experience in a similar branding role

*

Team management across varied disciplines such as creative, content and digital

*

Experience of the management and build of successful corporate websites and digital marketing systems

*

Previous experience of developing brand strategy

*

Expert presentation skills in Powerpoint is fundamental

*

Paid and organic social experience is desirable (LinkedIn and Twitter)

*

On and off page SEO and PPC is required

*

In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Hubspot Analytics is critical

*

Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Self-starter with the ability to work as a positive, energized and adaptable team member

*

Exceptional collaborative influencing skills

*

Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and influence senior leaders.

*

Extremely strong relationship building skills.

*

Demonstrated ability to champion and drive ideas/programs

*

Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work under pressure and prioritize effectively

*

Able to demonstrate passion, energy and drive, especially in the face of resistance.
