Global Fire SIOP Leader

Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the Sales Inventory Operational Planning process at LOB level to support business alignment both in short term (0-12 weeks) and long-term horizon (3 months-18 months)
• Work with marketing team to effectively manage product life cycle and coordinate product launches, phase outs and replacements, maximizing the growth opportunity and minimizing inventory obsolescence
• Work with Commercial Excellence and ISC to define service level proposition by product, channel and customer
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to build unconstrained demand plan.
• Act as a strategic partner to link the LOB Business Demand with the ISC and Sourcing to maximize material availability, delivery performance and execute inventory plans
• Be part of the HSF Global Fire Leadership team
• Facilitate Reconciliation and Executive Reviews to drive effective business decision making process
• Proactively drive cross-functional efforts in order to reduce cycle time and replenishment lead times.
• Drive continuous improvement SIOP culture across the organization.
• Partner with BU SIOP team to implement standard SIOP processes/practices within LOB. Ensure Corporate and HBT standards are understood and followed in the LOB SIOP processes.
• Contribute to the continuous development of planning systems and supporting tools to ensure world class SIOP process.
• Enable achievement of HOS Gold, support HOS Gold initiatives and continuously improve process excellence.
• Direct line reports into the President Global Fire and dotted to the HBT SIOP Leader

• Revenue & Profitability targets (AOP/STRAP)
• SIOP Maturity
• SIOP Business Effectiveness
• Forecast Accuracy improvement
• Customer delivery performance (OTTR)
• Inventory control, Overstock, IOS reduction
• Cycle time/ lead time reduction

Education and Experience:
• Master’s degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a global, multi-site and highly matrixed manufacturing environment.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position in sales operations, marketing, finance or integrated supply chain.

• Strong communication and influencing skills on all levels of an organization
• Change Management skills
• Self starter, pro-active and result oriented team player
• Proven deployment, results and improvement of SIOP processes.
• Strong knowledge in Demand Planning principles.
• Strong analytical, interpretation, presentation skills.
• Proven ERP knowledge and proven ERP deployment background.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
• Occasional travel can be required
