Introduction:

Boeing Defence UK Ltd have an opportunity for a Finance Analyst within our Rotorcraft Support Business, located in our Gosport office.

Position Overview:

The Finance Analyst will provide Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) support to the Rotorcraft Business Manager and work closely with the Financial Operations team in Gosport. The main areas of support will be in coordinating inputs to the monthly forecasting process for Orders, Revenue, Earnings and Cash in addition the managing the related overhead expenditure forecast. Monthly variance analysis support to the lead FP&A analyst will be a requirement in the month end close process.

Support to the Financial Operations team will principally come in the form of managing monthly labour expenditure on our major Chinook Sustainment contract and providing support during the quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

As a successful candidate you will be embedded within a high performing diverse team working alongside various stakeholders in the wider Rotorcraft Business. As BDUK continues to grow, there will be opportunity for excellent career growth in a range of directions.

The Role:

Working within the Rotorcraft support finance team, you will be expected to:

* Support the collation of monthly forecast inputs for Orders, Revenue, Earnings and Cash across the BDUK Rotorcraft Programmes in conjunction with the Financial Operations Analysts
* Provide timely variance reporting to forecast identifying key drivers for under or over performance against forecast and plan
* Support the forecast of overhead labour and operating expenditure for the Rotorcraft Business, working in collaboration with functional leads to develop a robust route to budget
* Provide support to the monthly labour expenditure analysis against budget/forecast on the key Chinook sustainment contract
* Ensure diligent cost management on aforementioned contract through management of chargeline requests
* Other Ad Hoc tasks as required by the FP&A and Financial Operations Team

Required Qualifications

* Be comfortable using the basic Microsoft Word applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
* Intent to pursue a professional qualification in finance such as CIMA/ACCA. Sponsorship would be considered for the right candidate.

You will be an energetic self-starter with a willingness to learn and pursue your career development with Boeing. The successful candidate will be a team player, able to build a good working rapport with relevant stakeholders quickly and be keen to be part of a high performing collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in a Finance related field
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
