About the role
As a Forecasting Analyst it’s your job to take ownership of multiple statistical forecasting methods.
As a valued member of our highly skilled team we would love you to bring your expertise in analysing and extracting important properties from large and complex data sets. You’ll produce insight and intelligence on current business requirements to enable the Planning Managers and Capacity Planning teams to make informed decisions on resourcing. You’ll be curious about the road ahead by delivering a stable forecast which incorporates all project overlays and call reduction initiatives.
We'd love you to bring experience and expertise in crafting weekly, daily and interval level 12-18 month demand forecasts which drives the resourcing requirement for the commitment period in line with the agreed sourcing strategy and contractual obligations.

As a valued member of the team it will be your job to produce accurate and effective weekly demand forecasts across various lines of business reflective of work types, ensuring assumption management of a number of factors such as;
* Seasonality factors
* Volume driver analysis
* Campaign and project inputs to growth adjustments
* Call reduction initiatives
You will have a keen focus on forecasting medium to long range demand requirement into the capacity model so that the business is able to achieve target service levels as efficiently as possible. A key factor of the role is also how you communicate these demand requirements to planning managers and ensure open lines of communication.
You can opt to be based out of our Manchester, Wythenshawe or Bellshill, Glasgow office
The Must haves
* Experience with multiple statistical forecasting methods
* Experience using and developing forecasting models in R or Python
* Ability to demonstrate analytical skills and data visualisation
* Ability to demonstrate verbal, written and numerical skills
* Ability to use Excel at an advanced level to design and manage complex forecasting models
Other stuff we are looking for.
* Telco and multimedia sector experience
* Experience with Anaplan & Verint
