About the Role
Due to the ongoing success in our drainage team in Exeter, we are looking for multiple engineers to join us at a time of expansion. In light of this we are looking to recruit ambitious, aspiring engineers to support and lead our growing workload in this sector.
Our main vision is to be recognized for our excellence, so, beyond qualifications and experience, the key attributes we look for are the ability to solve problems, the ability to build constructive relationships and a desire to keep learning.
We will provide you with the right environment and opportunities to develop as an engineer, and support your personal development.
We are recruiting for several roles and would be interested to hear from you if you have experience or interest in providing technical input on a wide variety of flooding and drainage projects as part of a wider project team.
This may consist of:
* Water quality assessments
* Water quality improvement projects
* Flood risk management strategies and reports
* Feasibility studies and option identification and assessment for water quality and flood and drainage problems;
* Outline and detail design;
* Report and drawing preparation;
* Provide project and technical management support to senior staff to help them deliver to programmes and budgets;
* Assist in developing and maintaining excellent client relationships
Ideally the candidate will have a degree in either an Engineering, Environmental or analytical Science subject.
We are looking for multiple candidates with a range of experience, from a minimum of 2 years, to more extensive experience if a Senior Engineer grade is sought. Ideally you will have experience working for a consultancy in the Highways or Water Sectors.
We would expect the candidate to be keen to learn new skills and progress their chartership with a relevant professional body.
Your role will involve supporting and training more junior staff within the team and taking ownership of projects. You will be reporting to a Senior/Principal Engineer and will be expected to be able to work under your own initiative.
