Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for experienced Flood Risk Consultant to join our well established and busy Water and Flood Risk team in our Manchester office.

We provide comprehensive solutions for our clients and our team in the North of England have expertise in:

*

Water Engineering

*

Sustainable Drainage

*

Flood Management

*

Integrated Catchment Management

*

Hydraulic Modelling

*

Hydrology

*

Water Sensitive Urban Design

*

Dam design

*

Hydro-power

As Flood Risk Consultant you will:

*

Work within this thriving Manchester team to manage the delivery of flood risk, water engineering, and drainage solutions on projects for a range of public and private sector clients within the UK.

*

Work with our technical specialists in Manchester and other parts of the UK.

*

Work on hydrology, flood risk models and mapping.

*

Work with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high profile projects

*

Work with clients on complex flood risk issues to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

*

Experience in the UK on Flood Risk, Hydrology and Modeling

*

Excellent report writing, communication and teamwork skills.

*

Be working toward Chartered Status with, CIWEM ICE or equivalent.

*

Confidence and experience of meeting with internal and external clients

Preferred Qualifications

*

Ideally educated to MA/MSc degree in a relevant subject.

*

Modules in water modelling, water management, hydraulics and water design projects would be an advantage.
