Role overview
We currently seeking a maintenance fitter at Minffordd Quarry near Porthmadog, North Wales.
The role will involve carrying out pro-active maintenance duties on a busy hard rock quarry and asphalt plant and associated equipment, as well as responding to plant breakdowns. Other duties will include planned preventative maintenance to ensure plant and equipment on site are safe, working effectively and fit for purpose. You will work with the quarry management to maintain high plant availability and production efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a fixed plant fitter within an extractives or heavy industrial environment. It is desirable that you have experience in welding/fabrication.
The group places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of health, safety and environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to the Company’s zero harm culture.
