Our Distribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealer support network. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and high performing engine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionally based (global) partners. This is an exciting opportunity in Wellingborough for a Finance Analyst.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Working within our Planning, Forecasting & Reporting team, you will offer financial analysis
You will consolidate and analyse financial data from 14 country business unitsacross EMEA.
Following established reporting formats, you will produce monthly and quarterly segmentation reports.
You will also act as the PFR Business Partner to the Aftermarket Business Unit, offering financial analysis, ad hoc reporting and information on financial variances.
Leveraging your technical understanding of engineering products and processes, you will Prepare analyses, reports, and special studies for management.
In addition, you will work closely with your counterparts within each business unit to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
Skills and Experience Required:
Extensive experience of using Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) for reporting.
Advanced Excel skills, including formulae and macros.
Dedication and a demonstrable track record of meeting reporting deadlines.
Previous experience in a PFR role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong analytical skills – an ability to derive meaningful conclusions from financial data, such as variances or gross margin analysis.
The flexibility and time management skills to fulfil ad hoc reporting requests alongside monthly and quarterly report deadlines.
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related discipline
A recognised Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) – part-qualified may be considered.
