Our sewerage network is a vital operation and therefore operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Flexibility is key as you will be expected to work on a rota of 37 hours per week over a 4 day period. Some weekend and evening work will be expected. This, combined with the need to cover standby, means the role would most likely suit someone living in or near the Ely area and has a flexible approach to working hours.
If successful in your application, you will benefit from access to a company vehicle, so a full UK driving licence is essential (preferably with an entitlement to drive vehicles up to 4.5 tons). If you are offered the role, the status of your driving licence may be checked.
