Coffey are currently recruiting a Facilities Engineer to join our facilities team. This role will report directly to the Operations Director.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct and document regular facilities inspections

* Ensure that HSQE Management Systems and processes are adhered to and maintained.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and industry codes.

* Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency.

* Manage quote and tender activity with vendors and suppliers.

* Optimize contractor activity and maximise cost saving.

* Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers.

* Manage contractor and vendor relationships.

* Complete Payment Applications and manage invoicing.

* Monitor facility management staffing levels at respective sites.

* Promote continual improvement within the FM Department.

* Manage Staff activity at respective locations

* Draft appropriate documentation (SPAs/RAMS etc.) before beginning tasks.

Requirements:

* A relevant degree/diploma to support your competency in the role.

* Electrical or Mechanical Background Desirable.

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Facilities Management

* Working knowledge of all aspects of Facility Management projects

* Good computer literacy – in particular Email, Excel & Word

* Good communication and Interpersonal skills

* People management experience

* Ability to present ideas effectively

* Full Clean Irish driving licence.

* No sponsorship available, must hold a valid work permit if a non EU national.
