We are currently seeking an Estates Surveyor to join our expanding team. The role involves the management of our property portfolio in Central Scotland and is based at our offices in the West of Scotland.

The key duties involved in the role are as follows :

• Acquisition of land and minerals

• Co-ordinating development projects, restoration and aftercare

• Liaison with key stakeholders including landowners, planners, communities and operational colleagues

• Securing planning and environmental permits and ensuring compliance

• Devising strategy for sustainable future mineral supply

You will be qualified to degree level in rural land management or commercial surveying with RICS status. Ideally you will have experience in mineral extraction or alternatively a keen interest in developing your career in this sector. We’ll encourage you to use your initiative, challenge the status quo, draw on your personal skills, helping us continually to change and adapt our business to keep up to date with best practice. In return, we’ll work hard to make sure you feel valued, supported, motivated and rewarded for your effort.

The Group places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to the Company’s zero harm culture.
