Equipment Maintenance Engineer - RR Civil Aerospace in Inchinnan, Glasgow.

Our Inchinnan facility is a complex facility that manufactures compressor aerofoils, turbine blades and main line shafts. We also assemble new build compressor modules and overhaul engines.

You will maintain a variety of CNC Machinery, Heat Treatment and Special Processing Equipment as well as assisting to improve our current processes and procedures within our Inchinnan facility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preventative & reactive maintenance within a small multi-disciplined including the use of the company CMMS
* Interpret OEM drawings to diagnose and problem solve
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Management of HS & E standards
* Participation in various improvement activities in our journey to zero-harm and zero-defects
* Actively participate in the development of our organization

Education level

Qualifications

* You must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship with a minimum qualification SVQ / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Experience of fault finding through the use of machine tool diagnostic techniques
* Knowledge of Siemens & Fanuc control systems would be advantageous
* Experience of working in a high volume production environment would be advantageous
* Although not essential you will ideally have experience of working to Rolls-Royce Production System (RRPS), together with some knowledge / experience of, Maximo, 5S and LEAN improvement techniques.
