Machine Tool Products Division
We are looking to recruit an Electronics Design Engineer to join our Machine Product Tools division located at our site in Woodchester, South Gloucestershire.
Your primary focus will be to provide design support to new and existing products. This will include designing, prototyping and product verification.

You’ll spend time learning about our products and technologies, developing new designs and current whilst supporting multiple projects at any one given time.
This position offers variety in an engineering setting where every few days can be very different. Working closely with our customers and international subsidiaries, you'll have the chance to elevate your career progression as a recent Graduate or a professional with applied experience.
Assisting in the design of electronic circuits for custom machine tool products, and test rigs
Capturing, analysing and documenting technical design requirements and product test documents
Providing technical support to product and production teams
Verification of product design changes
You'll hold a HND with relevant work experience or a degree
Use of simulation tools
Demonstrable experience of Electronic design tools
Understanding of digital and analogue design
An aptitude for problem solving and the ability to develop solutions for complex problems
Hold a valid UK driving license, as visits to other sites will regularly be required
Demonstrable experience in the following:
PLC and/or LabVIEW programming
Prototype PCB layout and manufacturing
FPGA, PIC development, programming
You'll be a team player with practical and relationship building skills. Able to work on multiple tasks and understand the level of quality required. You'll have a methodical approach to problem solving, and a keen eye for detail. We require a flexible, self-starter with a willingness to do anything required to get the job done.
