Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical, Electronic & Electromechanical Manager to join Airbus Defence & Space in Portsmouth. You will join our EEE group and report to the EEE Equipment Support Team Lead.

As the entry-point into for the electronics equipment product line (incl. Manufacturing, Design, Quality etc.), you will be embedded within a project core team, working mainly with internal customers. You'll gather requirements and understand the customer needs, propose technical solutions, support the design team and provide EEE component support at electronic equipment level.

Your remit will cover EEE & PCB selection, demand management and usage support, including both technical and quality support to the end-customer.

Driving EEE parts standardisation (working to our established processes) while contributing to the EEE parts road-map (to prepare and anticipate future EEE usage) are both key parts of your role.

You will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance.

Tasks & Accountabilities



Accountable to internal customer for all topics on EEE-parts and ed circuits boards (PCB) related to electronics equipment.



Responsible for EEE selection management, demand management (on quality, on time, on cost) and usage support.



Responsible for technical /quality support to end-customer (internal or external) as well as to lower tier suppliers for sub-assembly procurement.



Part of project core team, as such responsible for EEE labour work package management.



Coordinating all EEE requirements.



Managing deviations and non-conformances with users.



Ensure link between internal customer and EEE center, locally embedded as member of project core team.



Contributing to the EEE parts roadmap in order to prepare and anticipate future EEE usage.

Skills & Experience



Minimum HNC in a related subject



Background working with Electronics - your experience could be hands-on, hands-off or a mix



Experience working in an Engineering or Manufacturing
