DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS

We are looking for a Discipline Lead/Project Manager to join our Energy and Marine team in London, giving you the opportunity to co-create with our experts on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in the UK. Working in the Geotechnical space on a variety of projects including offshore wind, onshore wind, renewables and, marine projects.

Working alongside our design and engineering teams, you'll be responsible for project planning and operation, including time, economy, deliverables, and quality, on mid to large size projects. You'll also be able to provide input to line management on performance and potential of project staff on projects.

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for:

* Project and resource planning and its implementation in compliance with COWI's integrated management system

* Communicating with clients; including obtaining all the required input material and coordinate with the project team for timely delivery and as per agreed quality criteria

* Tracking and achieving project financial performance, demonstrating sound project financial performance understanding

* Reviewing production processes, workflows and implementing improvements

* Forecasting project turnover and performance

* Resolution of administrative issues within the Project/Group and guiding and mentoring more junior staff

* Identifying development requirements within the project team and giving effective feedback

To succeed in this position, we believe that you'll be an open and honest person who is eager to collaborate with others while keeping our clients engaged. Furthermore, you'll preferably have:

* Project Management certification

* Chartered Engineer status

* Relevant geotechnical work experience with a preference in offshore wind, onshore wind, renewables and marine

* Project Management experience

* Direct client-handling experience
