At the moment, we are seeking a Director of Civil Infrastructure to help expand our Civil Operations in the Midlands and across the north of England. This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced candidate with ambition and we are offering flexibility on the base location. As Director of Infrastructure, you will lead and build our existing teams and help increase our presence in the region. You will support our Leadership team in delivering against our ‘Plan for Sustainable Growth’ strategy and play a pivotal role in shaping and growing the business in the Yorkshire area and the North. As lead of the civil's teams, you will have the ability to win new business, secure client relationships and build an on-going portfolio of work to support and grow the team will be key.
You will have the ability to command a considerable presence for PBA/Stantec in the local marketplace, with both technical credibility and business acumen being at the forefront. You will be able to develop and win work, lead the business commercially and actively take part in the growth and success of the whole office. You will work with all of the disciplines that are available both locally and within the wider practice.
To succeed in this role you’ll need:
Demonstrable experience in leading a successful team in delivering civil infrastructure solutions
Strong client facing ethos, can-do attitude and the ability to present complex projects and concepts to all manner of fellow professionals and stakeholders
You'll have a strong network within the Midlands / North / Yorkshire to enable effective relationship and business development opportunities
Excellent infrastructure technical design knowledge, chairing client and consultation project meetings and reporting skills
Experience in developing and securing new business opportunities
