Are you our next Digital Maintenance Engineer? Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our well-established team as a Digital Maintenance Engineer.

What do you get to do in this position?

To optimise the performance of the digital tools and associated networks through proactive / reactive maintenance techniques ensuring that safety is secured through the adoption of safe working practices

What are your key responsibilities in the role?

Safeguard the integrity and safety of all plant digital / connected equipment associated with manufacturing operations through carrying out all work to agreed company standards

Support the departmental drive towards continual improvement.

Keep accurate and up to date records within the computerised maintenance management system of all repairs, servicing and modifications to equipment to improve the integrity and relevance of data to allow an informed management decision making process.

Maintain and document an accurate and comprehensive system of spares/ backups for all equipment ensuring that critical spares are ordered to agreed stock levels

Act as the interface between the local IT support, the centralised IT support and the plant for any shop floor / facilities based connected equipment

Facilitate the connection of new devices to the Schneider MES system

Maintain the site facilities in line with internal and external regulations.

Ensure that all breakdowns are attended to using advanced fault-finding techniques to minimise downtime to production equipment.

Ensure that all work activities are completed in line with company policies and procedures.

This role might be for you if?

Experience in connection of devices

Understanding of COM’s protocols / configurations

Must be able to demonstrate a high level of computer / PLC literacy

Should be able to demonstrate a range of skills including team working, problem solving, good communication skills and enthusiasm.

English fluency is a must.
