Mission

Driving the performance of our internal sales function for our business development team along with segment development roles in the UK&I. You will drive the effectiveness and development of the team across all of Schneider’s portfolio of products and services. Supporting and owning training, onboarding, development, and recruitment. Working closely with our other business units you will manage and maintain outstanding performance in the key disciplines outlined and support head of Internal sales to regulate and maintain a high-performance philosophy and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accountable for the performance of a team of 8+ individuals based out of our internal sales office focused driving incremental sales opportunities through end user projects. Driving a sales team to deliver £8m in sales for our new business team. Responsible for individual target setting with support of the head of dept. Lead and manage an exciting team of business development managers (x8) along two segment development managers focused on specific end user segments. Facilitating our lead development

* Developing and maintaining a robust training structure covering all relevant business units & developing your team to sell the complete SE offer. Thus, in turn driving an optimal lead & sales conversion rate whilst driving width of wallet through the sales organization.

* Responsible for the management and creation of sales driven initiatives from with-in the team.

* Responsible for stewardship and support of the teams imminent and largest sales opportunities, through providing coaching to the salesperson and facilitating customer interactions/meetings where necessary.

* Create and implement a high-performance charter, with clear outputs.

* Supporting Head of internal Sales with any change management initiatives.

* Support Team Leaders and managers within the department with performance insight, clear actions for improvement along with managing other teams when necessary.

* Developing and training individual team members to drive the right behaviors and ensure application of training and knowledge.

* Responsible for the inclusion and integration of all the BU offers which the team are tasked with, identifying, managing, and selling

Qualifications:

* Graduate degree or equivalent in engineering, IT, technology, or related field.

* Min. 5 years Sales experience. Exposure in a Senior or leadership type role with a proven track record of success.

* Able to demonstrate good communication

* Excellent technical writing

* Good knowledge and application of Microsoft Office products, including: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

* Some knowledge of marketing processes

* A basic level of project management

* Able to work individually and in a team

* Enthusiasm and willingness to succeed
