We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Portfolio Manager to join our Bristol based team. The Data team are building the Data foundations for value realisation and improved customer and colleague experience by putting them at the heart of the data solutions and shaping and delivering the strategic changes required to be made to key pillars of our data ecosystem: Enterprise Data Hub (EDH), Group Data Warehouse (GDW), and Operational Customer Information System (OCIS).

We’re a newly established, small team implemented to safeguard the Enterprise Data (ED) solutions, provide assurance and escalation route for data design considerations, act as an entry point for investment funded change and new ideas impacting ED solutions and to support the shaping of the ED domain, including alignment of the programme to target architecture.

We help stakeholders to think about data design considerations to ensure alignment to strategic objectives, facilitate collaboration with Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure a fit for purpose solution and interact with Value Streams and Major Core Programmes to channel inputs into portfolio aggregation and prioritisation allowing effective, joint-up and consistent placement of work across Data delivery teams.

You’ll support the provision of the key relationship management between Enterprise Data teams and the Value Streams and Enablers in support of GSR3, ensuring communication and alignment of the Enablers and Enterprise Data to deliver required innovations.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Building and maintaining a network with a diverse group of stakeholders to support the delivery of data initiatives and champions the Data Portfolio function.

• Working with teams across Value Streams, Enabling Programmes and within Enterprise Data to influence and promote collaborative data design considerations and facilitate Data to meet ED business goals, scope and strategic requirements.

• Supporting the facilitation of the data portfolio prioritised investment backlogs and management of aligned objectives plus key results by working closely with key stakeholders

• Manage a communications strategy and coordinate associated activities for the education in Data across the Group; which will include the facilitation of forums

• Manage, motivate and develops themselves and team members to create a high performing team.
