Job Description The Team

Within the FS Technology Risk team, our work involves providing consultancy, assurance, advice and attestation to clients on their IT systems and processes. This work is delivered through stand-alone assignments, large scale consulting projects and as part of external and internal audit engagements.

The Role

Responsibilities:

- The role will be to oversee and lead delivery of our data risk management work, which is expected to grow significantly.
- Assist the leadership team in delivery of scoping engagement and solution requirements to obtain detailed knowledge of business objectives and functional requirements.
- Support the development of proof of concepts and solutions: application development using our low-code application development platform; data engineering and management; data analysis; and visualisation.
- Help with delivery of the Assets and Accelerated Solutions propositions to clients and internal staff..
- Contributing to Business Development initiatives, which may include bid proposal and contract / proposition development, client pitches, commercial management and building and maintaining clients relationships

The Person

Proven experience of assessing client issues, developing rapid requirements to support the assessment and resolution of data risk management issues, examples include, S166 review, product miss selling, financial crime and regulatory reporting issues.
Experience in business and data analysis and understanding of core business and financial processes within the FS market.
Experience the following technology areas:
- Data Analytics (IDEA, ACL, SAS, SQL)
- Data Quality (Trillium, Data Flux, Datanomic)
- Data Reporting (Excel)
 Developing ad hoc data driven tools to support the resolution of issues as part of a pop up operation.
 Developing MI and data within a remediation environment

Qualifications and Skills

Big 4 professional services or dynamic IT consultancy environment within Financial Services.
CISA or equivalent auditing qualification preferred.
Degree/masters qualification in IT or similar
