An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Allianz Engineering as an Operational data analyst - responsible for providing analytical insight into the Engineering Inspection business.
This role will contribute to the profitable development of the Engineering Inspection business by providing reporting and analysis of both the weekly and monthly performance of the Engineering Inspection Operation.
Specifically contributing to business change activities and assisting the business in maintaining it’s ‘up to date’ service delivery proposition.
Key stakeholders for the provision of the analysis and insight will be the Head of Engineering Inspection along with the Central, Regional & Area Technical Operations Managers.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess a ‘can-do attitude’, be able to work off their own initiative and ideally have some experience of data analysis.
As part of the team you will:
Gather information from different source business systems to both develop and manage an existing suite of MI reports
Translate Stakeholder / Business needs into MI Reports and consolidate these reports to ensure consistency of information
Undertake analysis and provide insights to stakeholders to aid understanding of trends or changes in performance.
Ensure that the reporting suite is continually reviewed to ensure reports are fit for purpose and continue to add value to the Business
Communicate with key stakeholders to understand new or potential reporting requirements
Provide, on demand, information and reports in relation to the day to day delivery of agreed tasks and priorities
Prepare and deliver accurate, concise and clear reports, analysis and presentations, both verbally and visually to Stakeholders.
Deliver regular reporting to strict SLAs
* Work in conjunction with the ATOM’s to dynamically re-align Engineer Surveyor and team areas by using available mapping tools
Identify opportunities for MI automation, rationalisation, and improvement
Skills & Experience
- Proven high degree of numerical ability
- Able to apply analytical thinking
- An ability to get up to speed with a growing and complex ‘big data’ environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel
- Ability to deal with complex data and data relationships
- Good A-level or equivalent in a numerate discipline would be desirable but not essential
- Organised and strategic approach to workload management, scheduling and prioritisation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
