Basic Job Requirements

As a Civil, Structural and Architectural Designer you will work under the guidance of a Lead designer and engineers to develop 3D models to enable the extraction of design review and construction drawings and deliverables. The designer will also support the lead designer in performing model reviews, developing material estimates and take-offs.

The role will involve contact and coordination within the group and with other Engineering disciplines and construction contractors regarding CSA design,

Fluor are looking for a candidate who we believe will develop into a future design supervisor leading and managing the CSA design team. Fluor will offer the candidate development and training opportunities to the candidate to enable them to progress within the company to fulfil their potential. With this potential progression in mind, good people skills, relationship building skills and a dynamic approach are essential attributes to be displayed by the candidates.

Other Job Requirements

HNC qualified or equivalent
Microsoft Office Applications Software Suite
Certified Experience of one or more of the following
• Intergraph SP3D
• Aveva PDMS or E3D
• ASD OptiPlant
• Autodesk REVIT
• Autodesk AUTOCAD and
• Bentley Microstation

Preferred Qualifications

Academic qualifications and industry experience of 2D and 3D CAD systems and procedures. Candidate must have demonstrable experience of working in at least one of the following industries:
• Oil and Gas
• Power
• Infrastructure (roads/rail)
• Pharmaceuticals
Or have worked as a designer for an engineering, manufacturing or architectural practice.
