About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Controls Team Member to join our Enabling Functions team to work in Longbenton, Newcastle.
What you'll be doing
As a Controls Team Member you will be involved in:
* Project Setup in ERP system
* Bank reconciliations
* Bank month end transfers
* Various miscellaneous journals
* Blackline balance sheet reconciliations
Who we're looking for
You will have:
* A strong understanding of primarily R12 and other ERP systems
* Knowledge of “best practices” in process management and compliance within finance
* Development, influencing and assertiveness skills
* Good problem solving and analytical skills
* The ability to challenge controls, performance and strategic directions
