About the role
Commercial Executive - Mobile Trading
To £44,000 per annum plus other excellent benefits
Working within the wider mobile trading team, the Commercial Executive role is key to driving performance, ensuring we meet and exceed our retention and growth goals. You'll influence and lead a number of stakeholders, ensuring our mobile base activities deliver in line with critical metrics. You’ll be responsible for owning our SIM upgrade strategy, running base mobile go-to-market activity and collaborating with operational channels to drive performance.

You’re top priority is the make sure we do the right things for our customers. That will mean growing value through marketing, considering SIM offers and driving discount management. You’ll take insight from the feedback of our front-line teams and use it to take action. It’s an exciting time to join Virgin Media as we launch new propositions, deliver 5G managing multiple mobile network operator partnerships and continue to grow the UK’s largest converged customer base.
The must haves:
Experience working in a commercial function
Advanced Excel skills
Proven experience of working in a cross functional way, with multiple stakeholders to engage.
Proven examples of where you've personally resolved complex problems, which have lead to successful outcomes
Other stuff we're looking for:
Proactivity, positivity and ambition. You should have a strong team play mentality – if we win as a team, we win as individuals too
Strong analytical ability - the skills to take data and turn it into an actionable insight
Strong commercial acumen.
