Job Summary

A Clients and Marketing Manager, UK&I is needed to support the busy Buildings + Places (B+P) practice. Reporting to the B+P Senior Clients and Marketing Manager, this role will work in conjunction with the end-markets and leadership to deliver marketing programs across the UK and Ireland (UK&I).

The Clients and Marketing Manager will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to deliver an integrated marketing communications strategy aligned with commercial goals. This will include program of activities that center on building brand awareness, winning work and enhancing client relationships.

The Clients and Marketing Manages will be expected to work collaboratively with the UK&I Leadership Team, Client Account Managers (CAM) community and Cities Leadership Cabinets as well as other key internal stakeholders to champion the voice of the client. They will also be responsible for managing appropriate marketing and messaging strategies to support prepositioning for key pursuits.

In this role, the Clients and Marketing Manager will need to contribute to the sector and region’s digital strategy, embedding it with other multi-channel tools to develop activities that contribute to the desired client experience. They will also be responsible for managing and collecting data to allow the ongoing measurement and monitoring of marketing spend and campaign performance.

Responsibilities

The Clients and Marketing Manager for the UK&I B+P sector will be part of the Europe marketing team of c. 30+ professionals and will liaise with business development leaders, operations, and regional teams. Under the guidance of the Senior Clients and Marketing Manager, the main responsibilities will include:

Strategic thinking

*

Helps to develop marketing communications plans that support the business priorities

*

Manages day to day marketing spend in line with agreed budget

*

Monitors competitors’ activities

Integrated solutions

*

Creates marketing communications campaigns and activities using multi-channel tools, content, and collateral

*

Implements integrated internal and external marketing communications campaigns and activities using multi-channel tools (e.g. case studies, events, thought leadership, digital, video, marketing collateral, etc.)

*

Supports the localization of global campaigns, developing thought leadership and encouraging influencers across the business to leverage the content to win business

*

Collaborates with the Media Relations team and/or external PR agencies to promote key project milestones

*

Supports the submission process and maximizes promotion of wins

*

Proactively tracks opportunities for thought leaders to collaborate with member organizations and supports as needed (logo requests, social media promotion etc)

Social media & digital

*

Crafts and executes paid and organic social media posts

*

Prepares engagement reports and suggests ways to improve performance

Client centricity

*

Works collaboratively with the CAMs/SAMs and across the business to champion the voice of the client

*

Works with internal stakeholders to implement change initiatives

*

Implements internal communication plans to help improve collaboration and employee engagement

Brand positioning

* Champions best practice of our brand guidelines

Client experience

* Develops marketing activities that contribute to the achievement of the desired client experience

Measuring and monitoring effectiveness

*

Collects, synthesizes, analyses and reports measurement data

*

Champions the benefits of digital engagement and the insights that it can bring to client relationships

Bids and proposals

* Develops the skills necessary to support prepositioning campaigns for key pursuits and interview prep

Desirable but not essential

* Experience of using Pardot (or other email marketing platforms) and SalesForce (or other CRM system)

Minimum Requirements

*

Previous experience, working in a similar role and position, in a B2B professional services environment

*

Self-starter with the ability to work as a positive, energized, and adaptable team member

*

Understanding of how to make the most of the marketing mix to achieve business objectives and deliver ROI

*

Previous role within a global organization would be preferable but not essential

*

Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills

*

Exceptional interpersonal skills and adept at working across all levels

*

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage significant workloads across several different workstreams and deliver to deadlines, with acute attention to detail

*

An understanding of the Buildings + Places market is desirable

Preferred Qualifications

* Educated to degree level or equivalent with formal marketing training or qualification (e.g. CIM).
