Class 2 Driver / Labourer

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Reporting to: Manager
Department: 5750 Components
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:45pm

WEC Group is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Class 2 Driver/Labourer to join our busy and expanding team 5750 Components based in Knowsley, Liverpool.

Responsibilities

* Undertake local deliveries in a 7.5 tonne vehicle and other vehicles when required

* Handling of steel goods in a fast pace manufacturing environment

* Assisting with the packaging of goods and loading vehicles prior to delivery

* Maintaining the vehicle cleanliness

* Completing delivery documentation as required

* Dealing with customers on a daily basis

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Must have HGV class 2 licence

* Must be flexible and prepared to do night work/work away from home, including early starts and weekends.

* Must be willing to undergo FLT training to assist with loading vehicles

* Must be willing to undergo HIAB training

* Good knowledge of drivers hours rules and taco graph regulations
