About the role
Providing 2nd/3rd line network support and project delivery as part of a dedicated team based on a major client site in customer sites based in Wokingham and Warwick.
Peer review and input to network designs.
Create and improve existing network documentation.
Provide expert network knowledge to ensure all incidents are handled efficiently and service is restored in SLA.
Pro-actively manage the network, identifying improvements and anomalies in the network to prevent network incidents from occurring.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all customer requests, internal and external, are progressed and dealt with accurately and in line with agreed business processes and procedures.
Co-ordinate incident resolution activities across a number of internal groups and 3rd party suppliers ensuring customer incidents and changes are completed within SLA.
Work with the Programme and Project Managers to ensure timely and expert delivery of all project work.
Assist with the analysis of the root cause of faults and the production of subsequent RCA reports.

CCNA –Cisco network engineer
Experience with switching & routing / WAN & LAN & TCP/IP
Data centre installation
