Edwards exhaust gas management business is the worlds leading supplier of technology to abate toxic and global warming gases produced during the manufacture of microelectronic devices. It is located at a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Clevedon just south of Bristol.
Following a restructure of the Manufacturing Engineering department we have 2 x Cell Manufacturing Engineer vacancies one with a mechanical bias and one with an Electrical bias.
The role will be to own the manufacturing system within the allocated manufacturing cell(s) by the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the safe and LEAN processes for existing and new products to ensure operations on time to standard and within budget within the allocated manufacturing cell.
To design, prove, implement and maintain Cell manufacturing system to deliver existing, customised and new products safely, on time to standard and within budget according the required yield and efficiency level.
Engineering degree or equivalent, with experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment
Relevant experience in implementing the principles of lean manufacturing. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
