What you will be doing?

As a Business Development Consultant you will act as the first contact for many prospects and future customers who reach out to Oracle. You will qualify Oracle prospects and produce strong customer demand for cloud solutions that are shared with sales and progress to won business. You will work hand in hand with marketing and sales to drive positive outcomes for our customers.

You will be:

* Consulting on Oracle solutions via phone and digital leveraging social media platforms.

* Supporting programmatic and inbound campaigns to build a healthy funnel of prospects/leads.

* Applying consultative approach in understanding and analyzing clients’ needs.

* Pipeline generation and forecasting in line with monthly and quarterly pipeline targets.

* Participating in 3-way solution calls with Sales, Pre-Sales and Customers to progress leads.

* Systematically qualifying, generating, nurturing and progressing an active sales pipeline which can be readily won.

What do we look for?

Goal-oriented individuals with confident communication skills. Ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Cloud solutions will be an advantage. Desire for a long-term career in sales, marketing or programs preferred. An example of completed studies – tertiary and/or personal.

* Min 2 years’ experience in telesales or sales environment in IT or software sales.

* Goal and numbers oriented individual.

* Team player and collaborator.

* An analytical mind and experience with developing solution selling skills.

* Familiar with social media tools and technologies.

* Experience in maintaining a high-volume sales pipeline.

* Experience in positioning cloud solutions would be an advantage.

The primary focus of a Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Oracle solutions and services through a mix of inbound calls and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical

As a Telesales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business with inbound telemarketing calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.

Ability to demonstrate time management, telesales skills and knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided). Goal oriented individual with superior communication skills. Ability to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products preferred. Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred. Two years relevant business experience preferred.
