Principal responsibilities

* Sell custom contract development and manufacturing services and technologies to the pharmaceutical industry

* Drive Sales and Contribution Margin growth.

* With minimal supervision, manage a geographical sales territory to achieve planned revenue.

* Identify potential customers in accordance with defined segment targeting & customer prospecting strategies, to secure new customers and / or new projects to support Sales Revenue target and pipeline.

* Develop and implement lead development plan to expand business in assigned territory.

* Responsible for customer acquisition for offerings of JM’s innovator pharmaceutical products and services business unit.

* Adhere to pricing strategies and escalation processes and apply relevant tactics to secure commercial close.

* In conjunction with Associate Director determine prioritization of territory strategic vs. opportunistic opportunities to ensure maintenance of a healthy pipeline.

* For territory opportunities draft, negotiate and conclude of all Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA), Master Services Agreements (MSA), and Supply Agreements (SA), ensuring appropriate key business terms are secured and supported by Sector Legal, that escalation to Associate Director and final review process is followed and furthermore ensure that applicable Agreements receive review of the Group Legal Risk Committee.

* Assess the competitive activity within assigned territories and communicate upward.

* Collaborate with project definition group, site directors, R&D, operations, and all support functions to develop solutions which address customer needs and objectives of the Innovator Pharmaceutical Products and Services Business.

* With support of project definition group prepare and present proposals to customers.

* Maintain updated customer relationship management (CRM) system (MS Dynamics) showing progress against new development objectives.

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will have:

* Successful track record of selling custom contract development and manufacturing services and technologies to the pharmaceutical industry

* A degree in chemistry, chemical/mechanical engineering or equivalent

* Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

* Good understanding of chemical processes and sound manufacturing practices related to Innovator Pharmaceutical business unit product and service lines

* A full and current driving license
