We are a leading Mechanical, Electrical & Building Fabric Maintenance provider and are actively seeking 4 x Building Maintenance Technicians / Handyperson to support the delivery of hard service maintenance contract at the Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.

Following the successful award of this new contract, we are looking for 4 x Fabric Technicians with a background in building service maintenance to join us on site.

The Technicians will be responsible for undertaking reactive & planned fabric and building maintenance works across an estate ensuring it is maintained at all times to current standards & legislation. Works include Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Civils, general maintenance and basic mechanical & electrical maintenance support.

Responsibilities

You will:

* Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.
* Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreement’s to meet KPI’s.
* Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standards through a proactive service delivery methodology
* Develop excellent working relationships with our client their staff or appointed representative through good customer service.
* Ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audit either by internal or external parties.

Requirements

You will have:

* City and Guilds from a Trade or equivalent
* Practical experience carrying out Fabric related PPM's in-line with industry standard or equivalent with wide ranging skills in Reactive and Repair work.
* Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs and Small Projects with minimal supervision.
* Experience in preparation of surfaces & selection of paints/ mixes to match specified finishes and colours.
* Previous experience working as a Fabric Person on Commercial/ Industrial facilities .
