Reporting to the PVT Group Leader, as a PVT Project Engineer, you'll maintain part responsibility within the Variation Reduction team (VRT) as well as leading the VRT team. You'll also support the VRT team, providing coaching on problem-solving strategies and metric management as well as day-to-day operational leadership. To succeed in this role, you'll need to track quality performance via a scorecard and be able to work cross functionally to drive teams to achieve set targets.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
For this role, you'll need a proven track record of interfacing with Manufacturing and Engineering on quality issues. You should be confident in the use of presentations and spread sheets to present quality concerns to relevant stakeholders, and you'll need to be able to track quality performance via a scorecard and work cross-functionally to drive teams to achieve set targets. As a result, you'll successfully foster good working relationships and communicate well, both in written and verbal forms, across all levels of the business.
As an individual, you'll be able to work independently and champion good quality practice across the functions. As within the role you’ll be working across a number of teams, you’ll require a good team ethic with a strong desire to deliver against targets.
Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and a performance-related bonus scheme.
