Job Summary

We are looking to appoint a BIM Technician to join our Water, Ports and Power structures and heavy civil engineering design team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team with exciting growth prospects. The individual will have the opportunity to develop their career and widen their responsibilities by working within a multi-disciplinary design team with a portfolio of varied and interesting project workload both locally and nationally.

Job Responsibilities:

*

Assist in initial project set-ups which will include using project CAD/BIM protocols and standards.

*

Liaise with internal and external design teams on CAD and BIM matters as appropriate.

*

Produce all 2D and 3D design information required for any type of structure, using industry standard modelling applications from Autodesk.

*

Work under limited supervision performing complex technical work.

*

Be conversant with ISO19650 relevant standards and guidance associated with delivering in a BIM environment.

*

Assist with creating and modifying 3D models, renderings and/or animations for promotion and proposals.

Minimum Requirements

*

Experience using CAD/BIM to create 2D and 3D design information.

*

Experience creating and modifying 3D models, renderings and/or animations for promotion and proposals.

*

Knowledge of CAD/BIM protocols and standards.

*

Be conversant with ISO19650 relevant standards and guidance associated with delivering in a BIM environment.
