Position Title Bid Coordinator

Job Summary

Our Buildings & Places Bid Team is currently seeking a full time Bid Coordinator with the following requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

*

Assisting the Bid Managers across the full life-cycle of the bid from pre-positioning through to interview stage.

*

Conducting forensic scans of the client documentation to form a full overview of the bid response requirements.

*

Reviewing and re-writing bid deliverables, providing a pre-submission control point to ensure quality and consistency of product;

*

Assist in the drafting of bid submission to ensure delivery of a coherent document communicating the win strategy and monitor progress of submissions;

*

Coordinating key bid meetings

*

Monitor bid programme and deliverables progress in conjunction with Bid Managers;

*

Manage the completion and submission of tender questionnaires;

*

Ensure that standard materials (e.g. Exemplar bids, evidence, testimonials, CVs) are regularly updated and available for use by bid team members;

Minimum Requirements

Essential

*

Experience in bid management/coordination, preferably within a consultancy environment;

*

The ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues alike; comfortable liaising at all levels;

*

Strong organisational skills;

*

The ability to work under pressure and ‘do all it takes’ to deliver work to deadlines;

*

Demonstrate understanding of bid management and quality systems;

*

IT Skills required in all Microsoft Office applications and proficient in Desktop publishing including Adobe.

Desirable

*

Strong bid writing skills

*

InDesign

*

Innovative and creative with ability of generating new ideas and following through to completion;

Competencies

*

Ability to take a flexible approach which responds to the issues presented

*

Confidently deals with changing requirements

*

Consistently looks for new and more effective ways to do things

*

‘Can do’ attitude with excellent time management skills; ability to handle multiple deadlines concurrently

*

Professional personal approach and manner, able to command the respect of the operating businesses

Preferred Qualifications

*

Educated to degree level desirable

*

APMP (Foundation or Practitioner) level
