An Overview of the role In the crucial role, you will help support our clients to both migrate our client’s on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure and expand their current native cloud presence. With a collaborative ethos, you will ensure that the clients cloud infrastructure is delivered using infrastructure as code, utilising the latest CI/CD processes. This role is a unique chance to uplift an existing virtual estate into the cloud & then transform it into a modern, cloud native deployment. Utilising the latest DevOps methodologies to drive change within an organisation. The Work The initial focus of this role will be to migrate existing infrastructure into Microsoft Azure – following an infrastructure code approach with varying levels of transformation. Some of the technologies in use on the project are but not limited to: * Linux (RHEL) * Windows 2016/2019 * Hashicorp (packer / terraform / consul / vault) * Ansible, PowerShell DSC * Azure Resource Manager Templates * Docker * Kubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service) * IaaS Virtual Machines * Azure Active Directory * Azure VNet configuration * Azure Network Security Groups * Azure WebApps * Azure DevOps * Graphite / Grafana / Prometheus /OpsView / ELK Why this role?
