WHAT TO EXPECT
Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Autonomous Driving Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.
As an Automated Driving Design and Validation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for undertaking functional design activities in the early stages of feature definition. These activities provide a consistent systems engineering approach to support the user / customer requirements specification, in the form of documents and models. By using model-based systems engineering techniques, the team contributes to the overall understanding of the expected feature functionality.
You’ll drive functional safety deliverables and translation of the outcome in the system specification, creating and maintaining the subsystem specification for all the requirements related to the external sensor. The Automated Driving Engineer is also responsible for the integration (mechanical, electrical, diagnostics, logical) of the subsystem into the vehicle and delivering the functional and non-functional safety requirements for specific subsystems.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll have the ability to work effectively within technical teams, having a real enthusiasm for developing complex systems. You’ll need the ability to create reports and analyse and interpret statistical data based on various key metrics. You’ll be a strong communicator, and you’ll have the confidence to present to stakeholders at all levels.
With effective leadership skills, you’ll have the ability to coordinate and support groups of people through complex processes in a fast paced and demanding environment. A degree or relevant experience is preferred.
