Your Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the supply chain planning proposition and engagement delivery in the UK. They will be expected to:
* Develop the Supply Chain Continuous Intelligent Planning offering and propositions for the UK&I market;
* Manage transformation programmes in Supply Chain Planning with responsibility for the on-time and on-budget delivery;
* Build relationships with senior client stakeholders positioning IBM as a ‘trusted-advisor/partner’ for Supply Chain Planning;
* Build relationships with our vendor partners to develop and manage the pipeline of future work and marketing activties;
* Develop interest in IBM's offerings and respond to client enquiries, Requests for Proposal and Requests for Information;
* Support the identification, growth and development of team members.
You will need to be comfortable with working with different clients in a range of industry sectors. The majority of projects are based on client site so you must be prepared to travel both within the UK and Overseas. You will need drive, enthusiasm and flexiblity to be successful, together with a deep interest in the Cognitive journey that is taking place across Supply Chain and Procurement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Extensive experience in Supply Chain Planning with deep insights into current and developing trends, technologies and challenges;
* Extensive experience of implementing Supply Chain Planning software;
* Proven experience of developing new business through innovative client propositions;
* Proven experience of leading teams and or projects either in a functional or consulting role;
* Understanding and experience of the opportunities of digital transformation, cognitive insights and emerging technologies on organisational strategy, structure and process;
* Ability to build and lead a multi-disciplinary team to develop technical solutions and architecture;
* Ability to develop and nurture junior talent
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
* Experience working within a highly-matrixed organisation and able to influence and drive change in such an environment;
* Knowledge of the Supply Chain Planning software vendor market;
