The Opportunity

Currently we are seeking an Associate to join us in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well established and reputable Civil Engineering team. Our projects include public and private sector clients, which are varied and requires collaboration across multiple discipline experts across the business. They include some significant development, infrastructure and regeneration projects offering you the opportunity to truly partner with the client to deliver effective infrastructure development solutions.

As a PBA Associate you’ll be a BSc qualified or Chartered Civil Engineer. You will have experience in leading a team of engineers and working with senior levels of management to drive the team forward. Your passion and experience of delivering quality infrastructure design solutions is most crucial to your success in this role. You will be ambitious, forward thinking and have a desire to work for one of the leading brands in the market.

About You

To succeed in this role you’ll need:

Experience of leading teams and managing resources effectively

*

Experience of leading civil engineering team and / or multi-disciplinary projects in a client facing role.

*

Preparation of highway design and specifications, detailed drainage design and report writing

*

Chairing external project meetings

*

Experience of working across a broad range of clients, including private land developers, contractors and local authorities.

*

Experience of scoping and preparing fee proposals

*

Ability to prepare construction contracts and administer projects during the implementation stage
