Hertfordshire County Council has declared itself the ‘County of Opportunity’. It’s facing the future with a determination to tackle climate change, target Net Zero, deliver sustainable services and achieve good growth. Active Travel is at the forefront of its thinking and embedded as the priority in the latest Local Transport Plan. This way of thinking is put into practice with the Gilston and Harlow New Town, Hatfield Business Park Living Lab and Mass Rapid Transport alongside more routine projects.
