Our rapidly expanding team of Landscape Architects/ consultants deliver technical services, supporting our national and international clients to protect and enhance the natural and built environment.

The Role

We are looking for Assistant Landscape Architects to support the Landscape team and to assist on the delivery of a variety of major large-scale road and rail schemes across the UK, including A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Upgrade, A96 East of Huntley to Aberdeen, Wales and Borders: Core Valley Line Transformation, as well as Variety of Highways England, DfI NI and Transport Scotland Schemes.

We want to hear from you if you have:

* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture or related discipline with a minimum of two years’ experience.

* Experience / interest in undertaking Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.

* Interest in all areas of landscape design and assessment.

* Licentiate Member of the Landscape Institute or willing to become a member

* Able to prepare landscape and public realm designs and specifications that are appropriate to stages of work.

* Working within a local team consisting of other environmentalists, design engineers and project managers.

* Enthusiastic, energetic and dynamic approach to people and projects.

* Proven track record to demonstrate skills and qualifications.

* Motivated, engaged and able to work alone or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

* Provide environmental/landscape advice for major highway construction projects.

* Good communication and presentation skills.

* Excellent report writing skills.
