In 2016, the UK MOD announced their decision to remanufacture the Apache Mk1 fleet of aircraft, bringing them up to the AH-64E Model standard. Boeing Defence United Kingdom (BDUK) Ltd will provide the Long Term Training and Support Service (LTTSS) for this significant programme
The training programme shall be managed by BDUK’s Training Services Business Unit who will analyse, design, develop, implement, evaluate and provide training to aircrew, groundcrew, maintainers and support staff. BDUK will be the prime contractor designing and developing the training solution and will be the integrator of systems delivered by Boeing US Training and Professional Services and the wider supply chain
Reporting to the Training Project Lead, the Assistant Instructional Systems Designer (AISD) is responsible for
* Assisting in the designing, developing, managing, conducting and evaluation of custom technical training materials, assessments and programmes
* Acting as liaison between Subject Matter Experts to obtain general technical data for training
* Assisting with data collection to support cost-benefit analyses
* Assisting in the performance of instructional system design tasks.
Instructional Systems Designers within Boeing provide an extremely important role in our drive to provide mission-critical solutions to the Defence and Security sector. Adding to your experience in adult education, we will provide the training and hands-on experience, and the opportunity for you, with your drive and determination, to become an exceptional Instructional Systems Designer
What We're Looking for:
Some experience of adult education and the design, development or delivery of instructor-led or computer-based training. Preferably an understanding of the principles of the Ministry of Defence Joint Service Publication 822, Defence Direction and Guidance for Training and Education
