We are thrilled to be able to offer a new position as an Assistant Design Co-ordinator at our Ipswich based head office, working Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

The main purpose of this role is to assist the design management team in their work.

Are you the person we are looking for?

We are ideally looking for someone who has recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering or Design Management or another degree level construction related qualification. The successful candidate should have a keen interest in civil engineering and construction, as well as a good understanding of design and construction principles and other associated processes.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be forward thinking and adaptable in the face of new challenges; but still retain a meticulous work method and excellent attention to detail. It is important that you have a coherent ability to visualise how things are built, with access to the supporting technical knowledge, as well as a desire to research and expand it. You will also be committed to getting the very most out of this opportunity, and as a confident communicator and collaborative team member who will not be afraid to engage and ask questions, as well as use your initiative.

This role will require a full UK driving licence.
