Overview / Responsibilities
Due to our continued success working on major development projects across the country, Wood are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant or Consultant Town Planner to join our planning, transport and design team in Leamington Spa. Our team works across a very broad range of sectors throughout the UK with major land owners, house builders and developers, Government departments and agencies, local authorities, plus national infrastructure providers, utility and energy companies. Our projects are often high profile and at the leading edge of professional practice.

You will prepare evidence and co-ordinate the submission of planning applications for a variety of schemes. You will help develop and maintain important client relations, and help promote their strategic land interests in development plans. You will provide planning advice to colleagues in other parts of the business and have the opportunity to support the winning of new business. Overall you will play an important part in the growth of our team.
Skills / Qualifications
* You will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Town Planning and a Licentiate member of the RTPI.
* You will ideally have experience within the planning sector in the UK, ideally within the private sector.
* You will be confident and persuasive with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* You will have the ambition and ability to develop new client relationships and assist with the management of existing key clients.
