Role overview

We are currently seeking an Asphalt Quality Control Site Technician based in the Leinster area, however, the role may require further travel within Ireland.

You will be responsible for carrying out on site sampling and testing of asphalt and road works.

Strong attention to detail is therefore essential. Good communication skills are also important as you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders, including customers - to assist in the resolution of any issues - and our Laboratory and Technical Supervisors. It is also essential that you will maintain an awareness of site practices and quality procedures and take action where these may adversely affect product quality.

Previous civil laboratory or on site quality control knowledge and experience in asphalt and aggregate testing is an advantage but not essential for this role as full training will be given.

The Group places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to the Company’s zero harm culture.
