Job Description

Description of Team / Department

Aggregates and Asphalt operations

Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role

* To operate static and mobile plant in a safe and efficient manner.
* To maintain where required mobile plant in a good order physically with re-fuelling, greasing, cleaning in accordance with the manufacturers and Hanson recommendations.
* Maintenance and repair of the plant within their scope and competence & keep accurate records in accordance with management requirements.
* Re-fuelling of machines – both static and mobile.
* Good timekeeping

Skills / Experience

* Good education is required and large amount of health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations are required to be understood and carried out.
* Certification by EPIC to operate mobile plant.
* NVQ Level 2 in mobile plant operations required following EPIC certification
